A free Tradish account can import a set number of recipes each week. The app keeps track for you and shows how many imports you have left, so you always know where you stand. Tradish Pro makes imports unlimited.
Every time you bring a new recipe in from an outside source (a website, a social post, a photo, a voice memo, or typed-out text), that counts as one import. Free accounts get a set number of these each week, and the count resets on its own so you get a fresh batch.
You do not have to do math in your head. Tradish shows how many imports remain, and it lets you know as you get close.
Opening a recipe someone shared with you never counts against your imports. Shared Tradish recipes are already in Tradish format, so there is no parsing step and nothing to use up. Save as many shared recipes as friends send you, free account or not. For more, see Opening a recipe someone shared with you.
Once you have used your imports for the week, Tradish shows a prompt like:
You've used all of your free imports for the week. Upgrade for unlimited imports.
From there you have two choices:
With Tradish Pro there is no weekly cap. Save as many recipes as you want, whenever you want. For the full picture of what Pro includes, see Tradish Pro: what you get.
No. The limit is about bringing in new recipes from an outside source. Editing recipes you already have does not count. For more on how saving works, see How saving works in Tradish.
Correct. Opening a recipe a friend sent you is always free, on any plan.
It refreshes each week on its own. The app shows how many imports you have left at any time.
